I finally bit the bullet and got my kitchen chairs!
Avery got a new crib -- the one I really wanted.
Also, I ordered this marbleized paper to frame and hang in the guest bedroom:
And the highlight of this past weekend was finding a pair of these campaign chests at the local flea market. I talked the guy down to $9 a piece, due to their condition. They are in dire need of some serious TLC, but I know the perfect spot for them in Hudson's room. I'm thinking of keeping them side by side to create a long dresser. In the meantime, have any tricks on how to get rid of the mothball stench?
Oh, and do you all remember those leopard loafers I ordered last month? Well, they ran HUGE. By the time I received the shipment, the size I needed was sold out. They really looked cheap in person too, double whammy. So, last week my best friend out in Texas called to let me know about these. Perfect price and the exact look I wanted… with that black piping!! They aren't fur, but I think they'll be more easily worn year-round. They are on super sale, so grab 'em while you can. (They also come in cobalt & patent leather. Cute, cute!)
Anyway, I digress.
Lastly, the bfrend bracelet giveaway winner happens to be my "real life" friend, Jessamie of Bird and Branch Redesign! Lucky lady.
I think you all are up to speed now. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

love every single item on this post. chairs, crib, art, loafers, and those dressers. Lots of love for a monday. well done!
Thinking of ordering those same chairs!! Love them. They look great!
Love those chairs and dressers! Were those a FL or SC find?
Wow absolutely GORGEOUS additions to your home! Love them all. And do the shoes run true to size? Can't get over that price!
Holy shecrap on those dressers!!! What a score...:)
Those leopard flats are fabulous!! I have been looking for a pair myself. And I can't believe that flea market find you found- those chests with the gold embellishments are just perfect!
Let the dressers air out for a few days. You can try packing the drawers with newspaper and charcoal to help absorb the smell. Also, I've heard Murphy oil works. I did all these tricks with an old dresser and it smells perfectly normal now.

@Kim @ keller-creative The dressers were a FL flea market find... Waldo aka in the middle of nowhere, just outside of Gainesville.
@Carly {a simple affair} Isn't the price unbeatable? They are so good looking' in person too. I'd say they definitely run true to size. Not too wide either like my previous looks for less.
@Tiffany Leigh {thedesignerlifestyle} Thank you, Tiffany! I'll try it all :)
What fabulous updates! Love the peak of the painting above your buffet in the kitchen too, great colors!
what, WHAT!!! I freaking won! Ok, all that other stuff is awesome too, for reals! Thanks, Anna!
Your chairs are awesome and the $9 campaign dressers- UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Oh and you'll love the crib- I have the same one and have used it for 5 years...still looks as great as the day I bought it!
That's awesome you got the campaign dressers for $9 each! I JUST yesterday finished restoring one that we picked up for $10. It was in rough shape too...the brass was BLACK. Took hours (days!) to clean! Totally worth it though! Posting the before and after of it tomorrow on my blog!

I love that marbelised paper and what a great find with the campaign chests. I have no chance of finding a piece like that in Australia, no matter how hard I look. Guess I will live vicariously through you! xx
