I did it. I officially have ombré hair. I wanted something new for Spring, and this seemed like the perfect option. I love having long hair, but I knew that if I messed up / didn't like the end result that I could cut it, worst case scenario. Also, ombré is as low maintenance as you allow it to be, and I can let it grow out (or cut it out) whenever I'm over it.
I have never done anything like this, so understand how brave I feel for not only trying it but having my DIY dye job turn out successfully. I have a reddish tone to my natural color, so I knew that my hair would look a little brassier than I wanted. But hey, I like it. It was only $10, and I got to keep my long hair. So, I can't really complain...
For those of you that are interested, I used a Revlon Frost & Glow kit.

When I first got mine done I literally basically FREAKED out & wouldn't let anyone see it for about a week because I was like hollly molllly the ends of my hair is straight up BLEACHED BLONDE. But now I am so obsessed it is going to be hard for me to not stop having it... I just love it so much! Anyway, it's fabulous! :)
