We're moving in a little over 2 weeks, and I've been decorating our new home in my head. This is what I'm dreaming up our dining area to look like. I've got it all except the rug. I need to decide whether or not I'm using a rug in the room. As pretty as this one is, I don't need one extra thing to keep clean with little ones running around. Feel me?
Regardless of rug or no rug... I'd love for you all to share suggestions for wall colors. My mind is going in a million directions.

Uhhh, LOVE the rug! Use the deep bluish-green in the rug for the wall color. drAAAAma!
Love the plan, I had similar chairs before but wanted a change so I sold them ;)
Love the pendant and the rug is fabulous, I know what you mean about having an extra thing to clean, but I think it helps to pull up the room together ;)
Love the look- very bohemian! I think a simple gray wall would be beautiful (lighter gray) or even a white (dove white by BM is one of my favorites).
So excited for you!
I feel like a really rich neutral could be nice. LIke a lovely cool beige. That way, the rug is the star of the show!
We just painted our living room and Kitchen in Sherwin williams amazing grey and wordly grey (one shade apart) They are the only two colors in our home now that will go in our future home! Cant wait to see, I know it is going to be so pretty!
I love your picks! I feel ya on the rug. I don't prefer one in my dining area because food can get smashed in it. I love a light grey for the dining area and maybe even some vertical stripes on the walls! Please show us the after pic! xx, Allie
I LOVE! And yes I hear ya on the rug especially with little ones. But worth it. It looks glorious. If you don't end up using the rug there though, you must use it elsewhere or give it to me! ;)
ooh, love this board! Personally I love deep dark charcoals in the kitchen/dining room...but deep blue/green could be pretty too, like another poster suggested!
Oh so pretty! One plus about the rug is it won't show stains. :) I soooo feel ya on that one.
I think going with the deepest blue in the rug would be pretty awesome and dramatic - it looks like a deep navy.
We have a similar looking happening in our office, pendant light with oval white quartz tables with the modern white ikea chairs.
