I was on the hunt for a new denim vest. Any of these would've done: 

Then, I came across an old jean jacket that was in the yard sale bin in our garage. It was the perfect candidate for a makeover, so I cut the arms off to make a vest. 

I am loving this transitional piece. It is a great layer to throw over almost anything. Dress it up or dress it down! And what's even better is that it can be worn year-round. Yup, I'm digging' it.
