Yesterday, I was so inspired here. It got my wheels turning, and I decided to repaint the canvas in our breakfast nook for the 6th time... seriously. I went with a solid color for a change, and I am loving the graphic touch in there. Just wish this place wasn't a rental, so I could paint my walls a pretty shade of gray.
Does anyone else follow I Spy DIY? I have been obsessed with all of Jenni's projects since discovering her last year. My friend Carly decided to reinvent an old pair of jeans last weekend, and I followed suit. I had an old pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans that I cut into shorts and then dip dyed in bleach following this tutorial.

Oh I definitely am inspired by this post! I wish I had a lot more time on my hands to do all the projects I see around the blogosphere. I love what you did with that canvas. Even though it was super simple, it does SO much for the space.

I hear you on the rental, so frustrating! I already have 2 accent walls and I'm afraid to do anything else in case I don't get my deposit back! (they approved the first two, I just don't want to ask for a third). But I love the solid canvas, I loved that about Eileen's post as well. And those shorts!! Checking out that blog riiiiight meow.
