reading list

Over the years, I have really grown to enjoy reading. I love finding new books to love. I am compiling a list of books that I'd like to read in 2013, and I thought I'd first turn to you for guidance. What's your favorite book? What book are you reading now? Dish.

One of my all time favorite books is The Wedding .. it's the follow up to The Notebook. I stumbled upon this on accident a few years ago and was so happy I did!

I'm currently ready "Crazy Sad True Love Story" which is great, but my favorite book of this past year has to be "Gone Girl"...it was awesome!

I agree with the above commenter, Gone Girl was my best read of the year. (Actually, the best read of the last several years!) I also loved Bloom by Kelle Hampton.

Everyone seems to like Gone Girl but I have to say, while it kept me entertained mostly throughout, it didn't leave me feeling very fulfilled once done. The best books I've read in the past month are The Night Circus and Lucy. Some all time faves are Life of Pi, Bringing Home the Birkin, A Primate's Memoir, A Walk in the Woods, and Modoc.

I have to agree with Kacie about "Gone Girl" leaving me slightly unsatisfied. I just finished "The Happiness Project"and really liked how it got me thinking about finding happiness in my everyday. Read the rest of my review here:
